Roger was born July 10, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa. He was a star at University of Nebraska, and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1983. Roger was a key member of three Super Bowl Champion teams for the 49ers (1984, 1988, 1989). He finished his eleven NFL seasons with 8,189 rushing yards, 566 receptions for 4,911 receiving yards.
